Mumbai:- After a long wait, finally, the Maharashtra BJP has released the first list of candidates. In the first list, BJP has given the ticket to 125 candidates. The names of veteran leaders of the party have also been included in this list. CM Devendra Fadnavis will contest from South-West Nagpur seat. At the same time, the party has fielded BJP state chief Chandrakant Patil from Kothrud seat. The party has given the ticket to Pankaja Munde from Parli. According to the information coming out, BJP has re-nominated 52 sitting MLAs in the first list. At the same time, the party has also cut the ticket of 12 sitting MLAs. In the first list released by the BJP, those leaders who have joined the BJP have given ticket to other parties. Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, who recently left the Congress and joined the BJP, has been nominated by the party from Shirdi. At the same time, Minister Girish Mahajan will contest from Jamner. Maharashtra is to be held on October 21, after the BJP and Shiv Sena announced the alliance on Monday evening, today the BJP has increased the electoral stir by releasing the list of candidates. The Election Commission has fixed the date of voting in Maharashtra on 21 October and the counting of votes on 24 October. It is being told that the process of sharing of seats between BJP and Shiv Sena is almost complete. However, due to lack of consensus on some seats, the seat-sharing has not been announced yet. It is worth mentioning that BJP currently holds 122 seats out of 288 assembly seats. On the other hand, Shiv Sena has MLAs for 63 seats.
